The goal of our religious school is to teach the children of Adat Shalom to become knowledgeable, informed and committed Jews.  The achieve this goal, we are constantly updating our curriculum and continue to explore ways to develop a creative, stimulating learning environment.  The religious school program emphasizes Judaic studies and a Hebrew component that encompasses language and liturgy.  The religious school begins with the kindergarten level and proceeds through post Bar and Bat Mitzvah classes.

Giant Eagle Advantage Card points help the religious school...

Each time you shop at Giant Eagle using your Giant Eagle Advantage Card, you can earn points for our religious school. Points are automatically credited to our school once you have registered. Follow these few, simple instructions:

1. Register our school now by calling 1-800-474-4777. Have your Giant Eagle Advantage Card in front of you.

2. You will be asked to enter in the number on the back of the card. It is the number directly BENEATH the bar code. It starts with a "4" and is twelve digits long. Next, you will be asked to enter in our School ID# which is 1572. (The whole process takes less than a minute and is VERY simple!)

3. When you shop using your Giant Eagle Advantage Card, credit will automatically go to our religious school. Thanks for your support!

In case of inclement weather, you will be notified of any school closings or delays by calling the synagogue and listening to the outgoing message on the Religious School extension #24.
